Air heater is mainly used to heat the required air flow from the initial temperature to the required air temperature. It has been widely used in many scientific research and production laboratories such as aerospace, weapon industry, chemical industry and colleges and universities. It is especially suitable for automatic temperature control and large flow high temperature combined system and accessories test. The electric air heater can be used in a wide range: it can heat any gas, and the hot air produced is dry, non-conductive, non combustible, non explosive, non chemical corrosive, safe and reliable, and the temperature of the heated space is fast (controllable).
In recent years, the power of air heater is gradually increased, and the energy saving effect is obvious, some as high as 400KW. Although the temperature is rising and its application in many industries is also increasing, many users report that the air heater will produce vibration in the application process, and the vibration will aggravate the wear of the pipe and baffle plate of the air heater, which will lead to the damage of the air heater.
We can change the effect of vibration on the air heater by the following methods:
1. Reducing the flow velocity can be achieved by increasing the pipe center distance;
2. Increasing the wall thickness is also a measure to improve the vibration of the air heater. This method is basically to change the natural frequency of the air heater pipe, so as to reduce the resonance caused by vibration. We can also change the diameter of the pipe.
So how to reduce the pressure loss of air heater itself?
1. Increase of air temperature of air heater and reasonable design;
2. Reduce the pressure loss of the air heater itself. The air that needs to be heated flows through the air heater, resulting in pressure loss. The greater the pressure loss, the greater the energy consumption of the fan, innovation, from the structural improvement of the air heater itself, with small pressure loss;
3. Air heater should be added on the surface of insulation layer. In the use of air heaters, insulation is only in the outlet pipe of the electric heater, and the surface of the heater itself has no heat treatment. The comparative data show that the energy consumption can be reduced by 5% to 10% by adding the thermal insulation layer. It is very important to save energy consumption for long-term operation on the surface of the air heater. At the same time, the insulation layer should be installed in the pipeline, and the insulation layer should be set in the air heater.
